We dispose of our own container trucks with capacity up to 30 cbm. This guarantees us a maximum flexibility and quick response time.

This will save you the time and thus costs of rental and transport of large waste containers.

For large quantities of waste, and in case of longer port stays, we can also provide garbage containers alongside your ship, with capacities of 8, 12, 20 or 40 cbm.

Solid oily or other dangerous waste is collected in liquid tight bins (1 cbm) or containers (15 cbm).

All waste collected is transported to acknowledged treatment centres, maintaining the highest environmental standards.

Also expired medicines can be disposed in a legal manner. 

After each waste disposal, you receive an official waste certificate.

According to the Belgian legislation on waste, all transports are registered in a digital platform, making the waste transport traceable from ship to end treatment.

Thanks to the latest EU regulation, all Marpol V waste can be disposed FREE OF CHARGE, even in weekends, on the condition that the port of Antwerp has approved the disposal.

The following conditions apply:

  1. The vessel must duly pay it’s waste contribution to the port authorities, 

  2. Disposal may NOT be forced by Port State Control.

  3. Vessel has duly entered it’s electronic waste notification form to the port authorities 24 hrs prior to arrival, including the quantities to be disposed AND the maximum storage capacity of waste on board
