As the pontoon of the Antwerp Cruiseterminal is only accessible for small light load vehicles, and also not for regular forklifts, KAYAK MARITIME SERVICES has worked out a suitable alternative with a small bull dozer.
This machine will bring the garbage from the pontoon to the quayside, where we will put a waste container in which the garbage can be loaded.
In comparison to collections by barges, that need to pass the locks in order to reach the pontoon, which takes significant time, this is a competitive solution.
This equipment can also be used to assist with supply deliveries at the cruise terminal.

Inland cruises moored directly at the Scheldekaaien can easily be reached by our own crane truck, picking up the garbage right from the ship’s deck.
